“I am a 64 year old male who is very physically active in high intensity interval training though competitive Cross-Fit programming. Every year over 400,000 people worldwide participate in the Cross-Fit Open which is a five week competition involving a wide range of demanding exercises.
This year I incurred an injury in the third week and third event. I strained one of my Achilles tendons . At the time I was pretty sure this type of injury would result in my being out of the competition and being mostly side lined for a month or so.
However, I see one of your licensed acupuncturists on a regular basis , Sabin Wu, and immediately sought treatment . Sabina performed three acupuncture treatments in the following three days. It was clear to me that at the end of each treatment I had some immediate improvement , certainly the pain was much less.
The healing was so rapid that I did not miss the remaining two events in the competition and was able to complete the five week program. Most importantly within less than 10 days my Achilles felt 100% healed and was pain free and has remained so for the past two plus weeks now.
I am back to full exercise including jumping, skipping, and lifting all of which stress the Achilles.
I can say that I am sure the acupuncture treatments are the reason for such a remarkable recovery.”
